How to use the Hotpoint freestanding cookers
Understand your Hotpoint freestanding cookers thoroughly before you begin to use them. The cookers are controlled using the control panel which contains several buttons and knobs for different purposes. Here is a brief of how to use them.
You can rotate the knobs to control the hotplates in either direction so that it offers variable heat control. The Main knob for the Oven can be rotated just clockwise.
After you will switch on each of the heating areas of the Hotpoint freestanding cookers, the hob hot warning lights will be functional soon. These warning lights will remain on till the heating areas cool down.
You might not be sure about how to operate the control of the Hotpoint freestanding cookers when the grill is on. This is the same what the other cookers have. Hotpoint freestanding cookers have controls displayed over the grill compartment. You must be very careful while setting the controls, as the hot air come out of the grill compartment during or after the cooking process.
Hotpoint freestanding cookers also offer you the facility of controlling your cooking process. You can slow the cooking process by pressing the ‘S’ button. Provided to control the main oven, this setting is especially designed to minimise the usage of energy.
