Some Types of Mezzanine Floor
Mezzanine floor is nothing but an intermediate floor which is built in between the two floors of the building. So this is not at all a normal type floor. Mostly the floor of this type is designed with low ceilings. The mezzanine floor is usually built in such a way that it does not close the ground floor completely. In most of the time this floor is used between the ground and the first floor though it can also be built for higher floors too. There are several ways of architectural designs which can be applied while building the mezzanine floor.
As a low upper floor it is used in Palladian architecture. The floor which is built in this architecture is mainly for storage or for servants. While building stadium this is also used so that the audience can see the game clearly. As a semi permanent floor system this type of flooring is used. The mezzanine floor here is built between the two permanent original levels within the building. This can be taken apart and relocated when it is required. Aluminium, steel or fibreglass is the most common things which are used to make mezzanine floor of this type.
